HOW TO CARE FOR CACTUS?

Most of the cactus and all succulents need plenty of daylight. The places with the most sun are the best environments for cacti. Put your cacti near the window whenever possible. However, you need to protect the cacti from the direct midday sun.

Cacti and all succulents love heat. They are also resistant to cold, provided that they are not watered in winter. The temperature should not drop below -15 degrees, and it is very rare that some water should be given. When cacti are grown in a mixture of flower soil and thick sand, the most yield is obtained. It is important that the soil you choose is water resistant and not limy.

Rain water is the best and most useful water in nature, of course, but storing rain water in the city is a laborious task.

Do not give water to your cactus when you are in doubt about whether to water it. Water it when it dries not only the visible part of the soil, but also inside. Empty the plate under the pot 30 minutes after watering.

Succulent and cactus species are not accustomed to humid air and stuffiness in their natural environment. The ideal environment for cacti is a balcony. If you are growing cacti in a closed place, you need to air the room frequently during the day.

The most suitable potting time is when the plant is resting. The months of January-February or July-August are suitable for repotting or repotting. The pot should not be too large for cacti and the soil should not be excessive.

This size depends on the size of the pot you are using, in my case it
is 4cm tall and has a diameter of 4,5cm.
If it is bigger you will need to add more rows following the pattern:
